Christmas gifts don’t always have to expensive. In his new e-book Eric Kim wrote a comprehensive guide about Street Photography that covers every aspect from gear to composition or the right mindset. As always this 110 pages spanning book is available for free and comes in the forms of either .PDF or .ePub.
As you can see he also gives insight in his own work and shares his experience over many years shooting on the street. What differentiates his books from a lot of standard photography books is that he puts a lot of emphasis on the right mindset.
His book starts with the typical chapters, explaining what Street Photography is, how to control your camera, or what lenses might be the best for you.
The Audience
If you are already an experienced photographer and know the basics you might as well skip these introductory chapters. But even then the book holds a lot of value giving detailed assignments for different compositional techniques.
Eric Kim is a great teacher who is very passionate about Street Photography and even if you might think you know it all, this book still holds some surprises for you.
As a starter this book is a must-read and will help you to immerge right into the fun aspect of Street Photography by avoiding the frustration that it holds for most of us.
